Mwatu FM on Wednesday, 4th February 2026, hosted a special edition of its popular vernacular programme “Tuthyumue Imwe”, focusing on Decentralized Governance and Rural Development.
The one-hour show, aired from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm, was hosted by Virginia Mwikali (Msupa) featuring Hon. Mark Ndingo, the MCA for Kwa Vonza/Yatta Ward in Kitui County, as the main guest.
During the discussion, Hon. Ndingo shared insights on how decentralized governance can drive rural development, improve service delivery, and empower local communities, drawing from his experience at the county assembly level.
