Kitui Central Member of Parliament Makali Mulu is in New York City, where he is participating in high-level global discussions on Financing for Sustainable Development (FFD).
In a statement, Dr. Mulu said he was honored to join fellow leaders, including Emmanuel Wangwe and Dr. Keffa from Kenya’s Parliamentary Research Department, at the forum organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
The OECD, widely recognized as a leading global think tank, plays a critical role in shaping evidence-based policies that address pressing economic and social challenges across the world. Dr. Mulu noted that the insights gained from the forum are directly relevant to Kenya’s development agenda, particularly in strengthening sustainable systems and improving service delivery.
“Our participation underscores Kenya’s commitment to global collaboration, learning, and innovation in building resilient systems that uplift communities and secure a sustainable future,” he stated.
