Yatta/Kwa Vonza Ward MCA Mark Nding’o has called on residents to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise and ensure they are duly registered. In a public awareness message, the MCA emphasised the importance of voter participation in strengthening democracy and shaping the region’s future leadership.
The appeal directs residents to visit the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) office located in Kwa Vonza town, where registration services are currently ongoing. The initiative aims to increase the number of registered voters ahead of upcoming electoral processes.
Nding’o underscored that every eligible citizen has a civic duty to register and vote, noting that active participation empowers communities to influence development and governance in Kitui County and beyond. He urged youths and first-time voters, not to miss the opportunity to have their voices heard.
