United Opposition Presidential Candidate and Wiper Party Leader, H.E. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, on Thursday led a strong delegation of Kamba leaders to Bondo, Siaya County, to condole with the family of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga following the passing of Mama Hilda Odinga.
In a remarkable show of solidarity and respect, Kalonzo presented over 100 cows to the Odinga family at Kang’o ka Jaramogi and Opoda Farm — a symbolic gesture deeply rooted in African tradition, signifying unity, compassion, and shared grief.
Among the leaders accompanying the Wiper Party Leader was the vibrant and influential Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA, Hon. Mark Nding’o, who praised Kalonzo’s leadership for fostering peace and national unity.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Nding’o said the Kamba community stood firmly with the Odinga family during this period of mourning. “Our leader, H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka, has once again demonstrated statesmanship, humility, and commitment to national cohesion through this act of solidarity,” he said.
The gesture was warmly received by the Odinga family and local leaders, who commended the Kamba delegation for standing with them in their moment of sorrow.
The visit also underscored the strengthening ties between the Kamba and Luo communities, even as Kalonzo continues to position himself as a unifying national leader ahead of the 2027 general elections.
