Students from Yatta Kwavonza Ward who qualified for education bursaries are set to receive their cheques on 17 March 2026 through a programme organized by MK Nding’o Foundation led by Mark Nding’o.
According to the schedule released by the foundation, the bursary issuance will begin at 9:00 AM at the Kanyonyoo Chief’s Office, before moving to Kwavonza Chief’s Office at 10:30 AM. The exercise will then proceed to Kiusyani Chief’s Office at 12:00 PM, followed by Ilika Chief’s Office at 1:30 PM, and conclude at Nthongoni Chief’s Office at 3:00 PM.
The foundation noted that only students who qualified for the bursary programme will be issued with cheques, urging beneficiaries to attend the designated centres at the scheduled times. The initiative aims to support education and ease the financial burden for families while promoting the “Kisomo Mbee” (Education First) agenda in the region.
