Mark Nding’o on Saturday joined family, friends, and residents in mourning during the burial of Mutumishi Joshua Makanda, remembering him as a dedicated servant of God who mentored many people in the community.
Speaking during the ceremony, Hon Nding’o described Makanda as an admirable icon whose teachings and guidance touched many lives across Tanganyika and Yatta Kwavonza. He noted that the region has lost a respected spiritual leader and community mentor.
Leaders and residents who attended the burial paid tribute to Makanda’s years of service, saying his legacy of faith, mentorship, and community unity will continue to inspire future generations.
“Rest well Mtumishi wa Mungu Joshua Makanda. We cherish the years you lived mentoring many,” Hon Nding’o said.
