The group stages set the tone for a competitive showdown. In Pool A, Mangina Rangers FC emerged strong after edging out Mutula FC 2-0, while the other matches ended in goalless draws. In Pool B, Kitui FC secured a crucial 1-0 win over Mulango A FC to book a semi-final slot.
The semi-finals delivered surprises and dominance in equal measure. Mulango A FC stunned Mangina Rangers FC with a commanding 3-0 victory, while Kitui FC comfortably dispatched Mutune FC 3-0 to sail into the finals.
Mangina Rangers FC redeemed themselves in the third-place playoffs with a narrow 1-0 win over Mutune FC.
In a tightly contested final, Kitui FC edged out Mulango A FC 2-1 to be crowned Kitui Central Sub-County Governor’s Cup champions. The victory capped off an impressive run marked by discipline, sharp attack, and solid defense.

The semi-finals were equally electrifying. Mshale Ladies FC thrashed Kiviu Ladies FC 8-0, while Kalundu Starlets FC defeated Kangalu Topshooters FC 3-1 to set up a mouthwatering final clash.
Kangalu Topshooters FC secured third place after a thrilling 4-3 win against Kiviu Ladies FC in the playoffs.
The final lived up to expectations, with Kalundu Starlets FC overcoming Mshale Ladies FC 3-2 in a pulsating encounter to lift the women’s title.
