A woman identified as Sharon Nduku has surfaced on social media claiming to be the biological daughter of Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi, sparking widespread public debate online.
Sharon, who says she currently works as a bartender in Machakos town, alleges that the county’s second-in-command has completely neglected her despite her attempts to reach out to him. According to her claims, she has made numerous phone calls which she says have gone unanswered, leaving her feeling abandoned and ignored.
In a personal account shared online, Sharon narrates a story of struggle, saying she has grown up without support from the man she believes is her father, even as he rose to prominence in public service. Her story has drawn mixed reactions from Kenyans, with some expressing sympathy while others urge caution and call for verification of the claims.
As of the time of publication, Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi has not issued any public response to the allegations. No official statement has been released either confirming or disputing Sharon’s claims.
The matter has reignited conversations around parental responsibility, accountability of public figures, and the role of social media in resolving deeply personal disputes.
Whether the claims will lead to legal action or official clarification remains to be seen, as the public continues to debate the issue online.
This is a developing story.
