Kangondi AIC and Kavaloni AIC women groups in Mutonguni Ward were all smiles today after receiving early Christmas gifts from the incoming Kitui Governor, Hon. Nicholas Mulila. The event turned into a joyful celebration as the women expressed their gratitude for being remembered during the festive season.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Mulila representative emphasized his commitment to uplifting grassroots groups, especially women who play a central role in community development. He noted that empowering women strengthens families and builds stronger, more resilient communities across Kitui County.
The women groups openly shared their excitement, saying this was the first time, since independence, that a leader had visited them personally with Christmas gifts and a message of hope.
