Tseikuru Member of the Kitui County Assembly Hon. KIMANZI MUANGE has broken his silence following his recent visit to State House, urging residents to remain patient as development projects take shape.
Speaking after the meeting, the MCA dismissed expectations of immediate results from engagements with the national government.
“For those who want development from the national government right now, development is not instant coffee that leaders meet the president today and development comes the following day,” he said.
Hon. Wamuange, however, expressed optimism that key projects for Tseikuru will soon begin, revealing that residents should expect the launch of the Twimyua–Tseikuru tarmac road and issuance of title deeds to Tseikuru dwellers around April or thereabouts.
He also disclosed that efforts are ongoing to secure the construction of a modern market in Tseikuru town, a project he said will boost local trade and improve livelihoods.
The MCA assured residents that he remains committed to seeking development for the area, noting that he is willing to engage leaders and stakeholders across all sectors.
“MCA MUANGE will knock every door and meet any leader—political, religious, social or NGO—who can do something for the great people of Tseikuru,” he stated.
He called on residents to keep hope alive and continue praying as leaders work to bring development to the region.
