Mwingi Professionals Coordinator Rallies Support for Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2027 Presidential Bid
The coordinator of Mwingi Professionals, Mr. Campel Munyambu, has called on Kenyans to rally behind Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking during a meeting of professionals from the region, Munyambu urged supporters to back Kalonzo “to the last man,” saying the former Vice President has the vision and experience needed to steer the country forward.
Munyambu described Kalonzo Musyoka as the right leader to take Kenya to “Canaan,” citing his long record in public service, commitment to national unity, and consistent advocacy for democratic governance. He said the country requires steady and principled leadership to address economic challenges, unemployment, and social inequalities.
He further challenged leaders from the Ukambani region to stand firmly with Kalonzo Musyoka, warning against political indecision or betrayal. Munyambu emphasized that the region’s unity would be critical in shaping national politics in 2027 and called on leaders and residents alike to support Kalonzo’s presidential bid without shame or hesitation.

Munyambu noted that Kalonzo Musyoka has consistently demonstrated loyalty to the Ukambani region while maintaining a national outlook, making him a unifying figure capable of attracting support across the country. He said Kalonzo’s calm leadership style and experience in diplomacy place him in a strong position to restore confidence in governance and international relations.
The Mwingi Professionals coordinator also urged the youth and professionals to take an active role in popularizing Kalonzo’s agenda, saying their voices and networks would be key in shaping public opinion ahead of the polls. He encouraged voter registration and grassroots mobilization to ensure the region delivers a solid vote in 2027.
Munyambu concluded by calling for unity among leaders from the Lower Eastern region, stressing that internal divisions have previously weakened their bargaining power at the national level. He said standing firmly behind Kalonzo Musyoka would not only strengthen Ukambani’s political influence but also offer Kenyans a credible alternative leadership in the next general election.
