Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transforming the county through improved service delivery across key sectors including health, roads, education and water.

Speaking on Thursday while condoling with residents of Kyangwithya West in Kitui Central during the burial of the late Joyce Kalekye Mutunga, the Governor said his government has made significant strides in addressing the daily challenges facing residents in line with his transformational development agenda.

Dr. Malombe noted that his administration is focused on improving livelihoods through expanded healthcare services, enhanced road infrastructure, better access to education and increased water supply across the county.

He emphasized that the county government remains dedicated to fulfilling its development promises and ensuring residents benefit from ongoing and planned projects aimed at improving living standards.

The Governor described the late Joyce Kalekye Mutunga, who passed away at the age of 105, as a respected matriarch whose life reflected resilience and community values.

The late Mutunga was a sister to Dr. Mueke and aunt to Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke. Leaders and residents who attended the burial paid tribute to her long life and contribution to the community.
