Kitui lands Minister Frederick Kimanga Leads County Officials at Burial Ceremony in Kitui West

Kitui Minister for Lands and Housing Development, Hon. Fredrick Kimanga, on Friday led a delegation of county government officials to attend the burial ceremony of the late Justus Mulaimu Kithungu in Matinyani Ward, Kitui West Sub-County.

Hon. Kimanga represented Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe at the solemn ceremony, conveying the governor’s condolences to the bereaved family and residents of Matinyani. He described the late Kithungu as a respected member of the community whose contribution would be remembered.

The delegation included the County Minister for Roads, Eng. Reuben Itiko, as well as several chief officers, among them Bretah Mwangangi and Chamia. The officials joined local leaders, family members, and residents in paying their last respects.

Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Kimanga emphasized the county government’s commitment to standing with families during moments of grief, noting that unity and compassion remain key values of the Malombe administration.

The presence of senior county officials underscored the importance of the occasion and reflected the county leadership’s close engagement with communities across Kitui County
