KITUI RURAL, 3RD MAY 2026– Kitui Central MP Hon. Dr. Benson Makali Mulu, PhD, shared Sunday fellowship with congregants in Kitui Rural Constituency, joining worshippers at AIC Kavisuni before attending the vibrant annual celebrations at Kanyangi Catholic Parish.
The day began with a blessed service at AIC Kavisuni where Dr. Mulu worshipped alongside local faithful. He later proceeded to Kanyangi Catholic Parish, joining hundreds of Catholics marking their annual parish celebrations.
A Message of Unity
Addressing the congregations, Dr. Mulu said he was inspired by the strong unity and harmony among believers across denominations. He encouraged residents to continue embracing togetherness, noting that unity remains key to driving meaningful development across Kitui County.
“When the church is united, the community is strong. And when Kitui is united, no challenge is too big for us,” he told worshippers at Kanyangi.
Vision for Kitui
Dr. Mulu also used the fellowship to share his vision for the county and reaffirmed his intention to vie for the Kitui gubernatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
“I believe my track record in development and leadership speaks for itself. I am ready to serve the people of Kitui at a greater capacity,” he said.
His development record as Kitui Central MP includes infrastructure projects, education support, and oversight on national resource allocation — experience he says has prepared him to lead the county.
