Francis Atwoli has been re-elected as the Secretary-General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions (Kenya) (COTU-K) for a sixth term, extending his leadership until 2031. The veteran trade unionist will continue steering Kenya’s largest labor federation after securing renewed support from delegates.
Atwoli’s re-election reinforces his long-standing influence in the country’s labor movement, where he has served in the top leadership position for years, championing workers’ rights and social dialogue between employees, employers, and the government. 🗳️🇰🇪
