MCA Alex Nganga Removed from Budget Committee Over Absenteeism
The Kitui County Assembly has adopted a motion removing Miambani Ward MCA, Alex Mutambu Nganga, from the powerful Budget and Appropriations Committee. According the the trusted sources
Hon. Nganga, a former Minority Leader, was ejected after allegedly missing four consecutive committee sittings in violation of the Assembly’s Standing Orders. He has also been absent from several plenary sessions.
He has been replaced by Kyangwithya East Ward MCA, Boniface Maundu Katumbi, who is viewed by the majority of MCAs as a committed and active representative.
The changes were approved during an evening plenary sitting of the Assembly.
