Kitui Central parliamentary aspirant Boniface Musambi has declared strong confidence ahead of the 2027 General Election, boldly stating that none of his competitors will secure even half of the votes he expects to garner in the race for the constituency’s top legislative seat.
Speaking exclusively to TCD Digital, Musambi said he has strategically positioned himself politically, financially and socially to mount a decisive and commanding campaign that will secure him victory in 2027.
The youthful politician noted that lessons from the 2022 General Election have significantly sharpened his political approach, making him more experienced, connected and prepared for the upcoming contest.
“I have fully organized myself financially, in terms of connections and strategy. I am wiser than I was in the 2022 General Election. In 2027, no competitor will get half of my votes,” Musambi told TCD Digital during the exclusive interview.
Musambi urged his potential rivals to reconsider their ambitions and instead rally behind his bid, arguing that his leadership vision and preparedness place him far ahead in the race for Kitui Central MP.
“The best they can do is to support me for the Kitui Central MP seat. I am focused and ready to serve the people. My plan is to serve for two terms and then go for the Governor seat,” he stated.
The parliamentary hopeful emphasized that his long-term political roadmap is centered on development-driven leadership, youth empowerment and strengthening governance structures within Kitui Central and the wider Kitui County.
Musambi has in recent months intensified grassroots engagements across the constituency, meeting youth groups, community leaders and local stakeholders as he builds momentum towards the 2027 elections.
With political temperatures slowly rising across Kitui County, Musambi’s bold declaration is expected to reshape early campaign dynamics and set the stage for a highly competitive race for the Kitui Central parliamentary seat.
