Mwingi West Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Nguna has earned widespread praise following a successful development tour in Migwani town, where he rolled out key initiatives aimed at empowering local communities and supporting education.
During the meet-the-people tour, Hon. Nguna officially flagged off the Mwingi West Constituency Bursary Application Exercise for the FY 2025/2026, an initiative set to benefit needy and bright students across the constituency. The MP announced that the bursary exercise will be conducted in all 22 locations of Mwingi West, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to education support.
In addition to the bursary launch, the legislator handed over five 100-seater tents and 500 plastic chairs to the Migwani location. The public utility items will be managed by area administration officers and are expected to support community functions, public meetings, and social events.
