KAMPALA, UGANDA — A Kampala businessman who struggled for years to grow his enterprises says he has witnessed a dramatic turnaround after seeking help from a group of traditional practitioners known as Magongo Doctors.
Edward, a long-time entrepreneur, had opened several small businesses across the city but consistently faced slow profits, limited customer flow, and recurring financial setbacks. Despite investing in training, consulting various financial advisors, and implementing aggressive marketing strategies, his ventures failed to reach the success he had envisioned.
Speaking to local reporters, Edward described a period of frustration where he believed he had “exhausted every conventional method.” It was during this time, he says, that a friend introduced him to Magongo Doctors — a group known in the region for offering spiritual support aimed at resolving personal and financial challenges. Their services, he noted, are conducted remotely, eliminating the need for in-person visits.
According to Edward, shortly after engaging their services, he began seeing what he described as “significant and unexpected improvements.” He claims his businesses attracted more customers, sales increased sharply, and new opportunities began to emerge. He says the transformation was so rapid that his daily earnings soon surpassed 2 million, a feat he had long considered unattainable.
Edward attributes the changes to the spiritual intervention, saying it helped him “remove barriers and unlock hidden potential” in his businesses. He also noted that the process was conducted privately and without disrupting his day-to-day operations. Magongo Doctors, who can be contacted via phone or email, have reportedly worked with other individuals facing similar challenges, although their methods remain a subject of mixed public opinion.
Today, Edward describes himself as one of Kampala’s more successful entrepreneurs and says he shares his experience to motivate others facing business and financial hurdles. While his story has sparked interest and debate, it adds to the ongoing conversation surrounding the role of traditional belief systems in modern economic pursuits.
