Speaking after an inspection tour of the site, Musambi expressed optimism that the ultra-modern facility will stand as a symbol of Kenya’s growing sports infrastructure and development capacity.

Strategically located along Ngong Road, the Talanta Stadium is designed to be one of the most advanced sporting arenas on the African continent, featuring world-class amenities that meet international standards. The project is part of President William Ruto’s vision to transform Kenya into a global hub for talent development and international sporting events.

Mr. Musambi commended the government’s commitment to timely delivery of flagship projects, emphasizing that the stadium will not only boost the sports sector but also create thousands of job opportunities for Kenyan youth during and after its completion. “This is more than just a stadium — it’s a statement of ambition, innovation, and progress,” he remarked.

He further noted that President Ruto’s unwavering resolve in driving major infrastructure projects demonstrates a deliberate effort to elevate Kenya to First-World stature. According to Musambi, the Talanta Stadium is a clear reflection of the administration’s promise to invest in the potential of young Kenyans through sports and creative talent.

Once completed, the Talanta Stadium is expected to host both local and international sporting events, enhancing Kenya’s competitiveness on the global stage. The project is also anticipated to attract investors and tourists, strengthening Nairobi’s reputation as a modern and dynamic capital city.
