Kitui MCA Mark Ndingo Appeals to Schools Not to Send Learners Home Over Fees

Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward Member of the Kitui County Assembly, Hon. Mark Ndingo, has appealed to school heads across the county to exercise compassion and understanding toward learners amid the prevailing tough economic conditions. He noted that many parents and guardians are struggling financially, making it difficult for them to meet school fee obligations on time.

Speaking exclusively with Media ,Hon. Ndingo urged education administrators to avoid sending students home over fee arrears, warning that such actions disrupt learning and increase the risk of school dropouts. He emphasized that education is a shared responsibility and called on schools to work closely with parents to find flexible payment arrangements.

The MCA further appealed to the county government, education stakeholders, and well-wishers to support vulnerable learners to ensure continuity of education. He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for policies and initiatives that promote access to education and protect the right of every child to learn despite economic hardships.
