Kitui County Government staff have joined other Countys’ staff in Siaya County for the *12th Edition of Kenya Inter- County Sports and Cultural Association* (KICOSCA) games, scheduled to take place from Monday 22nd November and will run until November 30th.
Kitui County staff will be participating in the following disciplines.
✓Football men
✓Volleyball men
✓Athletics
✓darts
✓table tennis
✓Scrabble
✓Pool table
✓bandminton
✓Chess
✓Scrabble
✓Cultural songs among other items.
The games are are expected to take place across various venues in Siaya town, including Jaramongi Odinga Stadium,The Siaya National Polytechnic among other local schools.
KICOSCA aims to promote Sports development, Cultural exchange, promoting team work among county employees.
KICOSCA Games are an annual event,that brings together county employees to show case their *Sporting and Cultural* talents.
This year’s edition is expected to be a memorable one,with teams expected to compete fiercely for the top awards.
The exercise has began today with a marching parade, with all participating teams showcasing their traditional and best dances,with the host Governor Prof Anyang Nyong leading other present Governors, and other top County official,an event that has happened at Jaramongi Odinga Stadium in Siaya County.
