Work with Governor Ngilu, Kalonzo tells Kitui wiper MCAs


The former vice President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has called upon Kitui MCAs to work for the benefit of a county other than having the party be blamed on county matters.

In a direct reference to the Majority wiper members of county assembly who have for many times blocked the minority Governor Charity Ngilu from implementing the county projects through budget capping.

Kalonzo said, “I vowed to stand beside my sister Charity Ngilu to work for the people of Kitui and my stand on that has not changed, I don’t want to be blamed in local matters, kikiumana huko, kindly sort it out without involving me.

I have and i will never tell MCAs to sabotage the Governor let it be known to all, Im, not the MCA, Im Not Mp, i and Musila are just normal people, let people see the differences when we are not around in Kitui matters.

Wiper Movement leader Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka was speaking during the burial send-off of the later former Mwingi county council chairman hon Joseph munyambu at kalisasi in Mwingi central.

He was accompanied by Mwingi central member of parliament hon Gideon Mulyungi, Kitui county Minister in charge of sports, culture and tourism hon Patrick Koki, who was holding briefs for Kitui Governor charity Ngilu among other local leaders.
