Kitui Assembly dinner held at popular hotel was dominated by the Word of God, call for unity of purpose and service to the people of great people of kitui.Kauwi ward MCA hon Gabriel Munyao delivered a powerful word of God and prayed for the members.
The message was from the book of Genesis 11:1 “Now the whole world had one language and a common speech.” Psalms 133:1 – 3b Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!.3b “For there, the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.”

Hon Gabriel Munyao emphasized the importance of seeking divine guidance in all aspects of life and they serve the people of Kitui.
The assembly members led by their Speaker Hon Speaker Hon Kevin Kinengo, Majority Leader Hon Hurison Maluki, and house leadership and other attendees called for unity of purpose as they serve.
The County Assembly has resumed its regular sitting from 5th September, 2023 after a short August Recess. As their practice, the sitting began with a communication from the Chair welcoming members back to the House.
In his Communication, the Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya urged Honourable Members to continue with their proactive contributions by drafting motions, Bills, Statements, Petitions, and Regulations, saying that this will transform aspirations into reality.
‘’As we resume our work, let us engage in constructive debates, open dialogues, and thoughtful deliberations that lead to solutions beneficial to us, our constituents, and the larger community’’, reiterated Hon. Speaker.
The word of God dominated the dinner with inspiring biblical verses, which were read out loud to set the spiritual tone for the gathering and oneness.
The Speaker further congratulated all the County Assembly of Kitui teams for their exemplary performance during the CASA games held in Nakuru from 19th to 27th August 2023.
