The Wiper Patriotic Front has officially endorsed party leader H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka as its presidential flag bearer for the 2027 General Election, setting the stage for a face-off with President William Ruto.
The endorsement was made during a delegates’ conference held at Kasarani on Friday, where thousands of party members, grassroots leaders, and supporters from across the country gathered to reaffirm their confidence in Kalonzo’s leadership.
In his acceptance speech, Kalonzo vowed to offer transformative and unifying leadership, promising to prioritize economic recovery, good governance, and national unity. He urged Kenyans to rally behind his bid, saying the time had come for a people-centered government.
Senior Wiper officials and allied leaders described Kalonzo as the most experienced and trusted leader to steer Kenya forward, calling on the opposition to unite behind him ahead of 2027.
