A scheme by Wiper Elected leaders to vanquish Kitui Governor Ngilu and impress Wiper Boss HE Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka played out today but flopped badly during the burial of the former First Lady Mrs Mawia Malombe.
The leaders led kitui senator Hon Enoch wambua, Kitui Women rep Dr Irene Kasalu, Mwingi Central Mp Gideon Mulyungi, Mwingi North Mp Eng Nzengu accused kitui Governor Ngilu of Supporting Raila Odinga rather of HE Kalonzo Musyoka who is running for the president in 2022.
Kitui central Mp Dr Makali Mulu who was the MC played safe and allowed his colleagues to attack Governor Ngilu.
When Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu took over the Microphone, the iron lady advised Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to Guide the Kamba nation to the next government knowing very well that the Kamba nation has no numerical strength to make him the president.
“These Mps are lying to you that you will be the Next President, they want to continue using your Name for them to get their seats in 2022 General”
“I will be very happy if Msheshimiwa Kalonzo is in the next Government, whoever becomes Kitui Governor, Machakos Governor and Makueni Will the Kamba, We need to focus on the Bigger seat, Governor Told wiper Elected Leaders who had gagged against her.
Ngilu accused Wiper Mps of doing nothing to increase the Kamba Voting basket for Kalonzo Musyoka citing a lack of political muscles to capture the country’s topmost seat.
Speaking at the funeral service for mama Edith Malombe at Ithookwe showgrounds, Governor Ngilu said, alone, the former VP could not mobilize enough votes across the country to win the presidency.
“My brother Kalonzo do not be deceived by these selfish leaders who want to ride on your political capital to earn them elective seats and leave you out in the cold as the next government is formed”. Said Ngilu.
The county boss added, “I appreciate the fact that most Ukambani Leaders disagree with me that time is not yet ripe for our son Kalonzo to be Kenya’s presidency but time will vindicate me”.
On his part, Musyoka asked the Kamba community to remain united saying a miracle will happen ahead of 2022.
