Former Kitui Senator David Musila is set to join the Wiper family soon – if the clarion calls by the majority of wiper supporters wooing Wiper honcho and former Senator Muthama to bring Bwana Meko back to Kalonzo party come to pass, COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
The mounting calls by the majority buoyed by and Wiper party insiders across Ukambani.
Senator Muthama is said to be in talks with former national wiper chair for the purpose of bringing him him back to the fold.
It will be remembered that H.E Kalonzo Musyoka did not acknowledge David Musila recent resignation from the Wiper Party.
However, the former Senator had to step aside as decreed by elections law – for him to be allowed to run for Kitui gubernatorial race.
The former powerful Machakos Senator of is on record saying he opposed the likes of Makueni Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana and Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua simply because he knew that the two were not fully genuine when they joined Wiper Party to seek election last year.
“‘ At the moment, the majority of leaders who lashed out at kalonzo Musyoka leadership are now joining his party in droves as the general election beckons” said one party insider, speaking to COUNTY DIARY.
The powerful Machakos chief of staff who is known as Mwene Mathau voiced similar sentiments.
Mr Mwengi Mutuse is on the record being quoted advising Kalonzo Muskoka to be warry of political scavengers whose intention is a ride on his name once they get elected and there after they leave him in cold.
