The Government through the ministry of Tourism, wildlife and National heritage is committed to support development of tourism products at grassroots level and collaborate with county governments to unlock economic transformation potential of unique unexplored attractions found in counties.
This was said by CS Penina Malonza when she had a consultative Meeting with Nyandarua Governor Kiarie Badilisha.
Today discussions with representatives from the County Government of Nyandarua – led by Gov. Kiarie Badilisha centred on collaboration in provision of technical and operational support for establishment of Nyandarua Arboretum and development of niche tourism products for the county.
“We also discussed the road map of establishing a museum in honor of the last remaining Mau Mau heroes – as directed by H.E President William Samoei Ruto during the burial of the late Shujaa Field Marshal Mukami Kimathi” CS Added.
The Ministry of Tourism And Wildlife Kenya is working closely with all County Governments across the Country to explore ways of collaboration in line with president William Ruto bottom-up policy
