Nyeri leaders are praising wiper leader, the former vice president Dr Kalonzo Musyoka over his unmatched humility in kenya history.
So I get this call from a number I do not have on my contact list. A cheerful voice on the other side goes like ‘Jambo Mheshimiwa’. It sounds familiar but I can’t really place it. Then he identifies himself. ‘This is Kalonzo’.
‘Jambo Your Excellency’, I reply. We go through the niceties. He asks about the Scouts Founderee over the weekend.
Then he tells me ‘I have been invited to a function in Nyeri Town on Saturday. I wanted to let you know’.
‘Karibu sana Your Excellency. You didnt actually have to do that but I am honored that you have.’ I tell him.
This is how honorable people do things. And humility is a essential part of leadership.
