As election heat intensifies, we are witnessing media houses taking stance in regards to their favoured aspirants.But this shall not be the case at Sang’u FM.
The station, which has turned out to be Kamba’s most professional, has declared equality in covering all political aspirants, the COUNTY DIARY Reports.
Speaking during the station’s belated end year party at a Nairobi hotel, Media legend and CEO Bonnie Musambi urged the staff to exercise fairness and professionalism in news coverage.
“Do not favour anyone including myself. Cover my competitors too for Sang’u FM is not a campaign tool but a professional radio station, ” said the Kitui Central Parliamentary aspirant.
During the event, News editor and Sang’u Yohyoh presenter Fred Muli won presenter of the year 2021 award, followed by Simba Kamosa and Francy Nyamai.
Co- director and General Manager Betty Musambi promised better stuff for both the revered on air personalities and listeners as the new year unfolds.
Sang’u FM has won the hearts of many through well researched programmes, seasoned presenters and comprehensive news and has clearly become the benchmark in Kamba broadcasting.
