The Azimio presidential candidate Hon Amolo Raila Odinga who lost to the president Elect Dr William Ruto is reportedly heading to the supreme court after Rejecting election results.
City constitutional lawyer and former Law society of Kenya president hon Nelson Havi has said the kenya kwanza coalition is ready to face the azimio Coalition legal bridgade at the supreme court.
“We are ready for them at the Supreme Court. In fact, we will use their own arguments on quorum of IEBC and the Court’s determination on the same in the BBI case. It will be the shortest fought battle at the Apex Court” Nelson Havi tweeted.
“Decision must be made by consensus or a vote by the majority.” How? These are the arguments I constantly received from the eight LSK majority crickets whenever I told them that there can be no consensus or a majority vote on a provision of law, he added.
Their inconsistency will be exposed and Kenyans will see a political faction that lacks a coherent thought on anything. They flip flop anyhow to align with their political interests. With no questions on KIEMS kits & math, it’s the most boring petition. Just Quorum?.
THE presidential election was not a procrmnt, policy or operation matter to require quorum, it was a declaration of the presidential election result by the presidential returning officer- the chairman, in this case the other commissioners were only his clerks helping him collate.
