Machakos Governor HE Wavinya Ndeti has reminded Kenya kwanza leaders that all kenyans are stakeholders in the country and they deserve equal opoortunity regardless of their political pusuation and ideologies.
Governor wavinya was speaking when she joined Sekeb Governors for a summit in kitui, The reality of the South Eastern Kenya Economic Bloc (SEKEB) is now taking shape.
“I joined my counterparts H.E Julius Malombe (Kitui) and H.E Mutula Kilonzo Jnr (Makueni) for the second summit meeting of regional county governors hosted in Kitui.We assessed the status of several items of the region’s economic agenda that we jointly committed to pursue as a Bloc, with the input of the National Government and other development partners.” wavinya tweeted.
“I’m happy to note that SEKEB is now fully anchored in law following ratification by the three County Assemblies of Kitui, Machakos and Makueni and that a fully operational Secretariat is being set up in Machakos”
As leaders, we agreed to pursue the implementation of key development projects, especially those that cut through the three counties in order to trigger an economic revolution across the Bloc.
In particular, we’re pursuing areas of Agriculture, Infrastructure, Water, Industry and Technology.
We urge our people and other leaders to walk with us as we pursue the ultimate goal of achieving better livelihoods of our people.
