Waita Youth leader Mr Kitovoto Making Great Stride Among His Peers


The upcoming Waita Ward, Mwingi Central celebrated youth leader Mr Kitovoto has continued to win banquet of praises from Who is who in Kitui county.

The controversial young chap from Waita ward, in Mwingi central – popularly Known as Kitovoto is currently getting it right among his peers.

The young and promising chap is currently strategizing to take over Waita ward in the next general election, he has been engaging young in several activities in his ward, including the sporting events.

Kitovoto is loved and hated in equal measure, he is a go getter young man and staunch Supporter of Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu.

A number of FCs held friendly matches at Mutwangombe playground in Waita ward where some were awarded with trophies and cash prizes. The football derby brought together Kivui FC vs Kaunguni (1- 0) while Kathoka FC was hammered 3 – 1 by Mutwangombe FC.
In the finals, the results were:

Mutwangombe 2 – Kaunguni 0

Kivui 1 – Kaunguni 0

Mutwangombe FC emerged the overall Winner with Kaunguni FC coming up second.
Kivui FC managed the third position while Kathoka FC came fourth.

The awards were as follows.

  1. ) Mutwangombe FC received a ball + 3500+ uniform

2.) Kaunguni FC received a ball + 2500 + uniform

3.) Kivui FC received 2,000+ ball

4.) Kathoka FC received a ball 1,000

5.) Umeme FC received a ball

Paul Kitungu, a local football enthusiast and leader boosted the kitty with Sh3000.
