Over seventeen county assemblies are reported to have adjourned indefinitely as the clamor for better remuneration, ward development kitty takes center stage.

Speaking exclusively with TCD digital, A MCA who did not want his Name Mentioned said the Racket for Ward development fund, and better remuneration is part of the topics on their table for discussion going forward.
The Calls for ward development funds have been supported by the majority of kenyans who sympathize with ward reps. Many people urge that Members of County assemblies should be treated with respect like other elected leaders.
The Members of County Assemblies are the elected leaders who are locally available in every event in their ward yet their salaries cannot support all these activities.
In many instances, the poor MCAs are forced by circumstances to bootlick Governors for anything to be done even a bursary of 1k.
The County bosses have all through misused mcas, getting a ward kitty will keep MCAs busy and Minimise the focus from the executive.
