Today, Raila had to duck into a State House toilet “for an emergency call” to avoid cameras as President Uhuru and Deputy President Ruto exited the Madaraka Day stage in matching ties and took their sweet time to cordially acknowledge the greetings of First and Second Lady seated at the State House Balcony.
The President and his Deputy then proceeded to hold a hearty 5-Minutes _tete-a-tete_ outside State House much to the chagrin of Raila, Atwoli & etc who had no “security” clearance to venture beyond the State House Gardens.
As if that was not already too much, only Uhuru and Ruto ventured into State House for “secret talks” ahead of Jubilee PG scheduled tomorrow.
It did not escape the notice of many that, for the first time in 2 years, the President did not as much as a mention, let alone acknowledge, Raila, the Handshake or BBI in his _Madaraka Day_ speech.
