Tsekuru groups welcome Sh.1.78M empowerment funds

A new dawn has begun for members of 36 organized groups following issuance of their share of the Kitui county empowerment fund.

Pooled from the larger Mwingi North Sub-County, specifically Tseikuru Ward, the groups bagged a total of Sh.1,780,000 to boost their respective business activities.

The exercise was led by Trade Chief Officer Fernandes Mbindu in conjunction with Civic Education Assistant Director Shadrack Musyoki and Trade Director Fidelis Mwaniki.

The trio distributed the revolving fund cheques in Mulangoni, Musavani, Masyungwa, Kaivivya/Ngongoni, Katumbi, Ngalange, Kaningo and Tseikuru/Nziitu villages.
