The 3 Governors from Lower Eastern Charity Ngilu, Prof. Kivutha K, Bwana, and Dr. Alfred Mutua today morning held a consultative meeting at a Nairobi hotel.
The meeting discussed the national development programs especially Konza City and Thwake Dam that will impact the region’s economic transformation and general growth.
This comes at a time when the counties are fronting an economic bloc for common bargaining and progress to improve the lives of the residents.
In his speech on Tuesday this week at Masii,President Uhuru Kenyatta restated his commitment to have every region benefit from local productions to boost respective economies- explicitly citing Kitui’s KICOTEC as an outstanding plant to benefit from national government textile allocations onwards.
