MWINGI west Wiper Member of Parliament hon Charles Nguna has said any attempt to bring unnecessary Election amendment will destroy the aspirations and transparency in electoral process.
Speaking when he appeared on k24 morning talk, the legislator said the Presidential election results or MCA should be live-streamed to avoid cheating, Mp Nguna added.
The election amendments bill being introduced to the Parliament seeks to scrap live streaming of results, once bill is passed will be destroy the credibility of election results, wiper Mp added.
“It’s imperative for the IEBC Kenya to ensure it maintains transparency and Accountability during the Election Period” he added.
The Election (Amendment) Bill should not be used to compromise the integrity of the Election Results.
