The late Gideon Musyimi laid to Rest As Leaders Make Great Lamentation over Him

Kitui County Executive Committee Members Hon Patrick Koki Musau, Tourism Sports and Culture and Hon John Muneeni Makau, Environment and Natural Resources on saturday attended high level burial solemn at Tseikuru Mwingi North.

The leaders made great lamentation during the send off of the late Gedion Kilonzo Musyimi Son of the late Pastor Simeon Musyimi Kimwele Pioneer Pastor A.I.C Churches and brother to Elizabeth Kavutha Vice-Chair KNUT-Mwingi Branch.

Addressing Mourners and people of Kaningo Village, Musavani Sub-location of Tseikuru Ward, Mwingi North Sub-County while delivering a massage of condolences of Governor Ngilu during a Burial ceremony of the late Gedion Kilonzo Musyimi,

The Governor described the late Gedion as a hero who loved this county with all his mighty,saying the county has lost a true son of the soil.The CECM Patrick Musau called upon all the leaders to join hands and work together for the purposes of realizing real development so that the real Musangi who is seriously suffering can benefit.

The Minister reminded Tseikuru residents that the Governor Ngilu is working day and night to make sure that her Five Pillar Manifesto which is geared to uplifting the lives of Kitui electorates is implemented appropriately.

He Reiterated the Governor Commitment in tackling their grievances as soon as possible with Road Grading set to be lauched from next week, Rehabilitation of Kaningo Market Shed including the toilet among other issues within the region like Water extensions from the existing boreholes.

The Minister Revealed that the Governor is also planning to do a wall and fence along the cutline of Mwingi North Game Reserve and Kora National Park in Tana River County boardery in a way of curbing insecurity/conflict which has periodically occurred within the communities living along the area in a bid of promoting Tourism in this Region, the project is being undertaken by County Government of Kitui through the Ministry of Tourism Sports and Culture.

He later proceeded to Tseikru Sub-County Hospital to Inspect it’s condition, Others in attendance were Hon Kilaa Kasina Area MCA Tseikuru Ward, Mr Mwenga Sammy Deputy Director County Ministry of Education, Youth and ICT, Mr Daniel Kimanzi Muange Deputy Town Administrator Mwingi Town Mwingi North Sub-County Administrator Stephen Matei, Jedidah Kavive the Village Administrator Kaningo among others.

The minister called upon leaders to minimise politicking and embark on service delivery .
