
The County Government of kitui led by the Governor HE Charity Ngilu and her executive Is collectively committed to implementing the election pledges, this was said by the Minister for Tourism, Sports and Culture Hon Patrick Koki Musau.
The CEM was speaking on Tuesday when he joined mourners, family members, friends and relatives of the late Naomi Kivuyo Kiseve for her funeral and burial service at her farm Kavoloi Village in Nguutani Ward of Mwingi West Sub-County.
The Minister who is known and loved by his oratory commanding skills was representing Kitui County Governor H.E Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu to the event
Kavoloi residents received with big acclamations while receiving Governor Ngilu’s message of condolences to the family and friends which was delivered by the Tourism Executive.
He further highlighted the projects which the Governor has already done in that region as well as the one’s which has been factored in this Financial Year.
In addition , the CEM Outlined the County Government ongoing repair the roads which has been damaged by the ongoing rainfall, cautioning them to avoid crossing overloaded rivers since many people has lost lives while crossing flooded rivers across the Country.
On their part, the head of Value Chain Addition Dr Temi Mutia lauded Governor Ngilu’s Artificial Insemination programme terming it a very successful one while Chief Officer Mr James Mbii Songolo told them that the County Government is going to repeat the AI program and that farmers should be prepared to bring their Cows to be Synchronised in large numbers.
Other County Officers present was the Chief Officer County Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development Mr James Mbii Songolo, The Head of Chain Value Addition in the office of the Governor Dr Temi Mutia, Mwingi West Sub-County Administrator Mrs Joyce Mwendwa among others.
