On Friday MCA Hon Erastus Mbuno officially opened the first county government project in Endau/malalani ward at Syou sublocation by name Ikisaya vocational training college (VTC).
This is the one of 100 days promised by kitui county governor to the kitui people and I am proud on behalf of Endau/malalani people,I applaud and appreciate H.E governor Malombe for considering this ward .
Now ,the TVC has officially opened and it’s offering the following courses;
a)Masonry.
b) Tailoring and dress making
c)Hair dressing and beauty therapy.
We have already VTC manager Mrs Anne Kiema,three other tutors and Board chairman Mr.Ngile Mauta who are fully prepared and ready
to teach and offer smooth running of the college.
The college has already admitted 15 students and is open for admission for more students.
In attendance was Hon.Mwikya Mweu former Eastern mp,Former Endau/malalani councilor Hon.Wambua Mulwa,Kitui East subcounty administrator Mr.Daniel munyotto, Endau/malalani ward administrator Mr.Michael Mbuvi,Ward Development committee chairlady Mrs Esther Katinda Muange,Malalani location senior chif Mr.Wambua Kisilu, Malalani/Syou village administrator Mr.David Wambua,Syou sublocation assistant chief Mr.Michael Kitungu and Retired senior Assistant chief Syou sublocation Philip Munyambu among other community leaders as well as the parents
The event was not only colorful but also successful and I urged all residents to own the facility and take full utilisation of the college for its life-changing institution.
Lastly,I take this opportunity to welcome parents of Endau/malalani ward and other wards to bring their children to this college so that they can get skills which will help them to be not only competitive but also competent in the job market.
“It’s the first Vocational training college in the lower part of the Kitui East subcounty and therefore I take this golden opportunity to urge the community to maximally utilize it so that we can reap full benefits as a community”.
“As a Endau/malalani ward MCA ,I am grateful and thankful to Almighty God for the opportunity to serve this great ward at this opportune moment.I will serve the community diligently and with utmost determination”
