Kitui County Tourism and Sports Executive Mr. Patrick Koki Musau aka Kuvasila has urged Kitui county residents to embrace county government programmes so that they can harness more benefits in the long run.
The minister reiterated the county government was committed to change the livelihoods of the people with realistic projects and programmes and urged residents of Mwingi West to continue supporting the government.
The County Executive was speaking on Saturday when he joined mourners at Mwanzilu Village in Nzeluni for the burial of the late Charles Mwangangi Malonza was who was a nephews ofthe Chairperson of the Kitui County Public Servive Board Mrs. Rose Kavata Masya who was also present.
The County Executive was representing Kitui County Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu.
Later in the afternoon, the ever active leader proceeded for another burial at the same village for the late Doris Mumbi where he also delivered a condolence message from Governor Ngilu.
“A time has come for Kitui leaders to shun divisive politics and embrace issue-based politics instead of spending too much time politicking to propel development forward, ” said Mr Musau.
