The giant Kenya Workers Union has cleared Stephen Masini Kitheka — an employee of Kitui County Government to run for the coveted National Asst Secretary General, The COUNTY DIARY reports.
According to a communique available to us, Kitheka is now is amongst the three candidates in Kenya who have been cleared to contest for Kenya Workers Union positions.
Kitheka will be competing against Festus Ngari and Abdishakuri Sheikh Abdikarim of Northeastern for the position of assistant General Secretary.
The Kenya County Government Workers Union election which bring on board all the 47 county government across the country is slated on 31st April 2021 in Kisumu County.
Mr Kitheka is expected to carry the flag of the County Government of kitui during the hotly contested election for the position of assistant secretary-general.
