Stephen Kasolo Groove Winning Home Coming Celebrations
Kitui County CECM for Tourism, Sports and Culture Hon Patrick Koki Musau on Thursday graced the occassion of the home coming celebrations for a Kitui Gospel Artist Stephen Kasolo after he won a Groove Award [Gospel Artist] for Eastern Region category.
This is the fourth Groove Winning Award Stephen Kasolo has received for the ninth [9th] appearances he has participated.
The Kitui County Executive for Tourism, was representing Kitui County Governor H.E Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu who was held up in other County matters.
The renown Gospel Artist had been accompanied by among other renown Gospel singers like; James Mwanzia, Abby Nato, Gladys Kanyaa, Anthony Kyalo, Scholar Nziu, Zack, Mjomba, Kalumu, Justina and Kennito. Groove Award is organised annually by all Media houses in partnership with other corporate organizations in Kenya.
On his speech on behalf of our able Governor, the CECM congratulated Stephen Kasolo and his supporters for making sure that the Gospel Groove Award for Eastern Region 2019 comes to Kitui County. He further asked the youths to put their talents into practice reminding them that Kitui County Government through our able Governor’s Manifesto number three (3) of youth empowerment will support and help them nature their full talents in a way securing their livelihoods.
He further assured the youths within Kitui County that through our able Governor the County Government is going to organise a Music Extravaganza in Kitui where all the music artisans will be invited to come and participate so that they can showcase their talents and those who will win and be unable to produce their songs in studio shall be assisted by Kitui County Government by scouting selection process.
The County CECM for Tourism, Sports and Culture, had been accompanied by Director of Audit department of Finance Mr Martin Mumo, Eastern Region Music Copyright Society of Kenya [MCSK] Mr Anthony Kyalo.
