Kitui Senatorial aspirant Dr. Stephen Kilonzo over the weekend led Catholic Parish in raising close to Ksh 2.4 Million.
Speaking during the fundraising event, outside the church, shortly after the Sunday service on Sunday 17th October, 2021, Dr. Kilonzo urged kitui citizens over 18 years to turn out in large numbers and register as voters in the ongoing mass voter registration by IEBC in order to elect leaders of their choice.
The leader added it only takes a maximum of 5 minutes to be registered. The TCD Reports.
The prominent politician cum businessman reiterated that he has en elaborate strategy to win in the next general election in order to give the people of kitui quality representation.
A total of Ksh 2.4 Million was raised in the funds drive that was attended by Kitui Women Representative aspirant Priscilla Martha Makumi populary known as Kavilisi, Ms Faith Mwendwa -Mama Tosha among other leaders.
The main celebrant at the event was Fr. Stephen Kaumbulu from Muthetheni Parish, Catholic Diocese of Machakos, hosted by St. Paul’s Catholic Kasyala Parish Priest Fr. Cosmus Ndumbi, Fr. Charlse Musyula and Parish chairperson Benjamin Maluki Nzai.
A formidable aspirant for Kitui County Senator seat 2022, was the Guest of Honor at a fundraiser for Kasyala Parish, Catholic Diocese of Kitui held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Kasyala in Kyangwithya East, Kitui Central Subcounty that raised a total of Ksh 2.4 Million for church development.
