On 6th May 2023 -The late regina Muindi John was today laid to rest in a colorful send off ceremony that was attended by who is who in Kitui County.
Regina was a grandmother to widespread Dubai-based businessman Mr Augistus Kyalo Muli.
Kitui central Member of Parliament Hon Dr Makali Muli,Mwingi West Member of Parliament hon Charles Nguna, Hon Bonnie Musambi, Katee Ndana, were among leaders those who attended the burial ceremony at kwa Ngindu Primary School, in Kitui Central sub- County.
Kitui Township Member of County assembly Hon Daniel Ngoima, Nominated MCA Charity and host of local leaders were present.
The late Regina Muindi John
Mrs. Regina Muindi John was born in Mui Sub County, Kitui County in 1933. She was the daughter of the late
Mutambuki wa Mwai and the late Mbithe Mutambuki.
She was the sister to Kalumu the late Masia, the late Muyathi, the late Kitivui, and late Mulike, the County Diary Digital Reports.
Mrs. Regina Muindi John lived a great life and was highly respected by her peers for her hard work, and desire for discipline. She was especially known for her generosity and god humour.
She was always very passionate about farming and insisted on going to the shamba even when she was not well. In her early days, she was a common site in the market selling bananas to take care of herself and her family.
MARRIAGE.
Regina Muindi was married to Mzee John Mukamba Wa Ngothya and later to Mzee Pater Wa Katee and she had a total 8 children four of whom are alive today.
The late Regina leaves behind 28 great grandchildren among them: Kate Kyalo, Brian, Kathathi, Ryan, Jason, Kelly, and others.
She was peacefully rested on Saturday, 22nd April 2023 aged 90 years.
