
Prof Geoffrey Muluvi, the Eastern Kenya university (Seku) vice chancellor has been appointed to the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services Board, The COUNTY DIARY can authoritatively report.
The appointment, which will run for consecutive three years announced through the Kenya Gazette (No. 270) by Education Cabinet SecretaryProf George Magoha.
Prof. Muluvi is a prolific academic giant whose professional leadership at SEKU has seen it grow from a nondescript university college to a behemoth of research and excellence.
According to Research Gate, Geoffrey M Muluvi’s 30 research works with 739 citations and 4721 reads, including: Distribution of indigenous strains of atoxigenic, making him one of the best contributors to the global scientific research.
His disciplined public resources management skills saw SEKU receive Sh150 million from the national government last year.
