Kitui Governor Julius Malombe was among leaders who were awarded one of the top honours in the country for his extraordinary service to humankind.
During the 59th Jamhuri Day celebrations, The president of the Republic of kenya William Ruto conferred Dr. Julius Malombe with the award of Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH).
The conferrement of the top honours by the Head of State to Governor Malombe is meant to honour and recognize his tireless efforts and commitment in serving the Kenyan people in different capacities.
Dr. Malombe is serving his last final term as the Governor of Kitui county, the pioneer county boss has served in different capacities in Kenya among them being the chairman of the board of Kenya Water Towers Agency.
