President UHURU Kenyatta has Directed the Attorney-General to fast-track the submission of conflict of interest law to Cabinet for approval.
Speaking during the 56th Jamuhuri day celebration at the Nyayo Stadium, The president cited cases of MPs practising law and defending the Governors who are accused of corruption-related cases, saying it’s a breach of conflict of interest
“In an indirect reference to Senators and Members of Parliament who always defend the accused persons while serving at the state officers, the matter is expected to bring the heat in coming days
