Opinion: by 2030, the africa population is likely to be close to 2.5B up from 1.5Billion people according to the latest United Nations projects. The numbers are expected to exceed the UN projections.

The Africa nations and their leaders need to think more about how to feed these numbers seriously.
In other words, people should start developing rural homes, and avoid selling their lands at a through away prices.
The Urban migration to rural Migration is inevitable in the coming days, Urban-rural, and mostly rural-rural, are we ready for this? Is Africa ready to feed her people?
The government through the legislature need to caution her people from selling their lands especially the rural areas at throwaway prices, the high price will be pick by 2027. At Ngomeni in kitui county, a Hectare of the land is close to 15ksh, in Mutha it’s 25k, in Nairobi, a hectare of land is fetching millions.
The desperation is making our people lose fortunes….first is the mental game….”useless land, unproductive land, harsh climate….yet it is the best land for any progressive mind.
The government need to fight illiteracy, pandemics, diseases, poverty, and lack of enough food.
Food Security will be the biggest challenge in Africa if leaders will not think 360 degrees and avoid corruption tenancies as a lifestyle.
If covid 19 pandemic is anything to study, it’s that Africans are very resilient peoples gene-wise, but we need to start thinking 20 years ahead.
